Roka Akor’s specialty is Robata Japanese cuisine, which is prepared on a twelve-foot robata grill. Mesquite charcoal is used to sear meats, fish and vegetables to perfection with flames that can burn up to 1,900 degrees hot.The restaurant’s name is derived from two Japanese words. “Ro” means hearth, an intimate gathering place for people to soak up warmth and ambiance. “Ka” means fire and energy. In alignment with the restaurant’s name, Roka Akor’s design features a centrally located robata grill that serves as the heart of the visual experience. Rich wood décor and sleek lighting heighten the effect. Guest are encouraged to speak with the chefs about the food, creating an interactive and engaging dining experience.
