PAMELA CAPONE
I PUNCHED MYSELF IN THE EYE
Pamela Capone is an actress, a humorist and the author of the award-winning book, I Punched Myself in the Eye. It was released in 2015 and followed her debut title, The Little Girl Within: Overcoming Memories of Childhood Abuse and Abandonment. Capone lives in Southern California with her husband, John. Together they have two grown children and one grandpup.
THE PURPOSE + MY WORK
The purpose of this work was to further establish awareness for I Punched Myself in the Eye and Pamela Capone in the literary and media landscape.
My work consisted of assisting in the creation of an electronic press kit, pitching media outlets, scheduling interviews, developing original social-media posts for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn platforms, creating book promotions, producing a media one-sheet, and researching and assisting in book contest submissions.
