THE GREAT CARP ESCAPE
Irish Beth Maddock has been a columnist for two local newspapers, been published in Reader’s Digest and been featured in broadcasts such as 100 Huntley Street and Canadian National Broadcast Radio. A published poet who has performed in and directed plays and musical theater productions, she is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, the Independent Book Publishers Association, Inscribe and The World Guild. The Great Carp Escape is available as a fundraiser for schools, churches, charities and ministries in need, and has raised thousands to help such causes.
THE PURPOSE + MY WORK
The purpose of this work was to establish awareness for The Great Carp Escape and Irish Beth Maddock in the American literary and media landscape.
My work consisted of creating a press kit, pitching of media outlets, mailing books for review, scheduling interviews, and developing a social media campaign.
