BECAUSE OF GRÁCIA
SERV OTHERS + FIVE STONES FILMS
Because of Grácia (SERV Others/Five Stones Films) released in theaters nationwide on September 15th, 2017 and stared American Idol’s Moriah Peters and Chris Massoglia. The movie portrays the lives of two high school couples as they explore friendship and dating along dissimilar lines that lead to courage and transformation for one teen and a personal crisis for another.
THE PURPOSE + MY WORK
The purpose of this work was to promote Because of Grácia's theatrical release, including cast and directors, to strategic, faith-based and mainstream media outlets, coordinate the media for the movie's premiere in Nashville and work in conjunction with SERV Others and Five Stone Films to supplement their efforts.
My work consisted of assisting in the pitching of contacts in markets across the US, coordinating media interviews for cast/producers/director, overseeing the red-carpet premiere in Franklin, Tennessee, drafting and pitching regional media advisories, securing calendar listings around the country for the nationwide premiere of the film and writing/sending multiple press releases through PRNewswire, Christian NewsWire, PRWeb, and Religion NewsWire.
